Do you sometimes feel like a nobody and that life is just running you over? Do you feel unfulfilled and that life has no purpose?
The bible says in Mathew 5:13-16 that we are salt and light to the earth. In Romans 12:1-2 it says that we are living sacrifices. We are all created for a purpose and reason on planet earth. We are here to make a difference. So how do we make a difference in the lives of the people all around us? Colossians 4 gives us a key to make a difference:
“2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, 4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
God created each one of us to better the lives of people around us. As we speak to people and allow our lives to be salt and flavour their lives, we will step into the call and purpose God created us for. That in return will birth joy in us.
