Increase, Bonuses and Promotions

Let's be honest

When we are honest with ourselves we must admit that we all want Increase, Bonuses and Promotions. But have you ever wondered what God thinks about money? Does God want us to be rich? Does God want us to be wealthy?

In this lesson I go into lots of detail that God wants and needs us to be rich and wealth. I show from the bible that God does want us to have Increase, Bonuses and Promotions. We look at the purpose of money and what attitude we must have towards money.

The Bible says

2Co 9:9-13 GNB  As the scripture says, "He gives generously to the needy; his kindness lasts forever."  (10)  And God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity.  (11)  He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us.  (12)  For this service you perform not only meets the needs of God's people, but also produces an outpouring of gratitude to God.  (13)  And because of the proof which this service of yours brings, many will give glory to God for your loyalty to the gospel of Christ, which you profess, and for your generosity in sharing with them and everyone else.

Psa 112:1-10 GNB  Praise the LORD! Happy is the person who honors the LORD, who takes pleasure in obeying his commands.  (2)  The good man's children will be powerful in the land; his descendants will be blessed.  (3)  His family will be wealthy and rich, and he will be prosperous forever.  (4)  Light shines in the darkness for good people, for those who are merciful, kind, and just.  (5)  Happy is the person who is generous with his loans, who runs his business honestly.  (6)  A good person will never fail; he will always be remembered.  (7)  He is not afraid of receiving bad news; his faith is strong, and he trusts in the LORD.  (8)  He is not worried or afraid; he is certain to see his enemies defeated.  (9)  He gives generously to the needy, and his kindness never fails; he will be powerful and respected.  (10)  The wicked see this and are angry; they glare in hate and disappear; their hopes are gone forever.

3Jn 1:1-2 LITV  The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.  (2)  Beloved, in regard to all things, I pray for you to prosper and to be in health, as your soul prospers.

Salt as preservation

  1. How do we preserve someone?
  2. How do we grow someone?
  3. How do we use salt to prepare someone for a future event?

The bibles says in James  1:21-22 MKJV

“Therefore putting aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, receive in meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.  (22)  But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

The only way to grow someone is with the word of God. In Romans 12:1-2 we also see that the we need to renew our minds with the word of God.

Romans 12:1-2 says the following. MKJV  I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.  (2)  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

So many people struggle with the questions “who does God want from me?” Romans 12:1-2 says that we are living sacrifices. As we lay down our lives and become salt that preserve the lives of those around us, God will start to show you more and more what our calling is. As you develop salt in yourself and preserve people by teaching them the word of God, God will start showing you what is “the good and pleasing and perfect will of God”, for your live

In this message we look at how to develop salt and how you you can preserve other people

We also look at how to develop your calling and ministry
