Going through a storm

Facing the storms – No matter what we do in life, we can be certain of one thing. We will face problems.

Right now you might be going through a problem and you are thinking “how did this happen?” Even as Christian we need to know and understand that we have an enemy.

His name is Satan.

Even if we are in the perfect will of God, Satan can still attack us and does attack us. When we face trials and tribulations it’s not because we have sinned. We simply have an enemy.

Your car might break down. You might be retrenched from work. And you DID NOT sin.

Joh 16:33 GW  I've told you this so that my peace will be with you. In the world you'll have trouble. But cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Joh 14:1 GNB  "Do not be worried and upset," Jesus told them. "Believe in God and believe also in me.

Act 14:22 GNB  They strengthened the believers and encouraged them to remain true to the faith. "We must pass through many troubles to enter the Kingdom of God," they taught.

From these verses we learn the following:
  1. No matter what the circumstances God's peace will never leave us
  2. If you live in this world you will have troubles
  3. To be joyful and full of good cheer is a choice
  4. If you truly believe in God and In Jesus fear should not be apart of your life. You have a RIGHT not to fear
  5. You must be among other Christians so that they can build you up and so that you can build them up
So Just RELAX – this is the time that you need to draw closer to God and not run away from Him.
